 That Damn Tire!

It is becoming more and more common that people do not know how to change the vehicles tire when it needs to be done. this can be an issue for many reasons one being that maybe there is know one around that will help and you done have cell service to call so you are on your own, another issue could be that there is a person but not really interested in changing you tire.So it is important to know how to do this the parts that you will need is usually all in the car.
The spare tire and the parts are usually close together. if you are driving a car then its usually located in the trunk. the thing you need to remover is the tire iron which you will use to take off the hubcap or the lug nut protectors. then you need to loosen the lug nuts but remember not to much because you don't want to take the tire off without the jack under it. when all the lug nuts are loosened then you need to grab the jack there is usually stickers where the best place is to stick it but if not you need to remember to look at the lop of the jack if it is a little rectangle with a slit then the jack will be placed on the side of the care usually just behind the tire you will see that there a flap that the jack will fit into. If the jack is a round top then you need to find a flat spot under the car where the jack head will not move. Once you jack the vehicle up you will remove the lug nuts and pull the tire off, if it will not come off take the palm of you hand and hit the tire at the top bottom and both side then it should remove. Then place the new tire on the best way to line it up is to line the bolt patterns up on the ground and then sit on your butt grabbing the sides of the tire and then placing your feet at the bottom then use you feet and arms to lift the tire so that you don't hurt you back. one the tire is on you will want to put the lug nuts back on and screw them on finger tight. once you have done this then you need to take the tire iron and tighter the lug nuts a little but going in a star patter. Once this is done you can set the car back down remembering to watch your toes. Then go through again and tighten the lug nuts to you full capabilities again using a star pattern. then place everything back in you truck in no particular order. this is because you need to get off the side of the road because there could be an accident caused so just organize everything when you return home. And that is how you change a tire.
