Changing spark plugs.

One of the most simple thing to do on a vehicle but always gives you trouble when doing them is the spark plugs. when it comes to changing the spark plugs and wires you need a socket set the new plugs which could be four, six, or eight are the most common. also you will need the new plug wires. First you will pop the hood and locate all the wires that are being plugged onto the spark plugs. then you will get your spark plug socket and start to work. the best way that i have found to do this is to start on one side and go from back to front. You start at the back of the motor and find the wire and unplug it then stick the spark plug socket on the spark plug and to loosen the spark plug you will need to pop the ratchet  because if you just apply force there is a chance that you will break the porcelain on the spark plugs. once the old plug is out then you need to check the gaping on the plug and then put it in where the old one was removed the one thing that is important is to not tighten to much. then you will have to remover the other end of the wire on the coil pack then find the wire that is the same length and place it on the spark plug. this is why i only do one at a time because if you meas up the wire placement then they will fire differently and cause the car to run wrong.Once you have done you approach the other the same way. Once you have done this make sure you start the vehicles to make sure that it sounds like it did before you started working.
